How to set up a recurring fee
If you run an antique mall, flea market, or shared retail space, ResaleOS can charge your vendors monthly booth rent (or any other recurring fee) and deduct it from their payouts automatically. Each recurring fee lives on a single consignor account.
Open or create the consignor account
From the dashboard, go to Accounts. Either pick the booth/vendor you want to attach a fee to, or click "+ New account" to create a fresh one.
Accounts
Scroll to the Recurring fees section
Inside the account form, scroll past Basic info, Address, and Surcharges. The Recurring fees card has a dashed-border CTA. Click it to open the fee modal.
Basic info
Recurring fees
Fill out the fee and save
Name the fee (this appears on the consignor statement), set the amount, pick a frequency (weekly / every 2 weeks / monthly), and choose the first due date. Use the Active toggle to pause the fee without deleting its history.
Add recurring fee
Tip: Booth rent? Name it after the booth number (e.g. Booth 14 — monthly rent) so it's instantly recognizable on payout statements.
After you save
Auto-charged on the due date
ResaleOS posts the fee to the consignor's balance on the next due date. If the consignor has sales, it's deducted from their payout; otherwise it shows as a balance owed.
Repeats forever (until paused)
The fee rolls forward by frequency automatically. Weekly = +7 days, biweekly = +14, monthly = same day next month.
Pause without losing history
Toggle the fee to Inactive to stop future charges while keeping past charges visible on statements. Re-enable any time.
Different from surcharges
Surcharges trigger off sales (per item). Recurring fees trigger off time. Run them in tandem — e.g. monthly booth rent + per-sale card surcharge.
