How to set up the consignor portal
The consignor portal is a hosted, branded login that lives at resaleos.co/s/your-store/portal. Consignors create a free account, then track their items, balances, payouts, and purchase history themselves — instead of texting you every Tuesday asking what sold.
You'll need a storefront slug first
The portal lives under your storefront URL, so a configured storefront channel is required. If you haven't set one up yet, follow How to set up your storefront first (you can disable the public storefront and still use the portal).
Open Settings → Consignment → Consignor portal
The settings screen has two parts: a global enable toggle, and a registration link + printable QR code that you'll share with consignors.
About the consignor portal
Lets your consignors create a free account to track their items, view sale history, and check payouts.
Portal registration link
Share this link or print the QR code so consignors can sign up.
Toggle the portal on
When enabled, the portal-specific tabs (My Items, Payouts) appear for logged-in users. When disabled, customers can still log in to view their purchases — but consignor data is hidden. Toggle it back on anytime; data is preserved either way.

Share the registration link or print the QR code
Email the link, drop it in your Instagram bio, or print the QR code and stick it next to your intake counter. Consignors scan, create an account with their email + password, and instantly see their items and balance — no invitation step needed.
Here's what your consignors see
After registration, consignors land on their portal home — balance, total earned, active items, total paid out, and a recent activity timeline. From there they can dig into individual items, purchases, and payouts.
What consignors see
Overview
Balance, total earned, active items, total paid out — and a running activity timeline (sold / listed / paid out / store credit applied).
My Items
Every consigned item with thumbnail, status pill (Active / Sold / Returned / Expired), consigned date, term countdown badges (e.g. 9d remaining / Expires today).
Purchases
If a consignor also buys at your store, they see their order history with Pay-now buttons for any unpaid balance — same invoice flow as the merchant side.
Payouts
Full ledger: deposits, payments, store credit applied, store credit earned, with a running balance column. Useful for year-end taxes.
Profile
Update name, email, phone. Manage password and email preferences. Self-serve — they don't have to ask you.
On their phone
The portal is fully responsive. The most common pattern: consignors check their balance on their phone before walking into your shop.
vs. emailing PDFs every month
Most resale stores hand-mail consignor statements monthly. With the portal, consignors get real-time visibility — they trust the numbers because they can see them update live. Bonus: you stop fielding “did my chair sell?” texts on Sundays.
Frequently asked
What plan do I need?
The consignor portal is included on the Resellerand Proplans. The Crosslister plan doesn't include consignor features.
Do I have to invite each consignor?
No. Sharing the link or QR code is enough — anyone who already has consignment items in your store gets matched to their existing account by email.
How are accounts matched?
By email. When a consignor registers, we look up the email on existing consignor accounts in your workspace and link them. New emails get prompted to confirm with you in-store.
Can customers use the portal too?
Yes — when the portal is enabled, any customer (consignor or not) can register to view their purchase history. The consignor-only tabs (My Items, Payouts) appear only for users who have a linked consignor account.
Can I disable the portal but keep history?
Yes. Toggle off and the portal pages flip to a read-only placeholder. Re-enable at any time; nothing is deleted.
What about marking payouts paid?
You mark payouts as paid from the regular Accounts page in your dashboard — the consignor sees the payment land in their payouts ledger immediately.
Ready to stop fielding consignor questions?
Enable the portal, print the QR code, and let your consignors self-serve. Most stores see a 90% drop in “did my item sell?” messages within a week.
