How to invite a team member & set roles

Most resale businesses don't run solo for long. Whether you're adding a lister to photograph and crosslist, a manager to handle sales, or your accountant for read-only access — ResaleOS has per-user roles plus optional fine-grained overrides. Only the workspace owner can manage the team.

Open Settings → Team

The Team page lives in the Workspace group. You'll see your invite form, current members, and any pending invites.

Send the invite

We email them a sign-up link. Until they accept it shows up under Pending invites — you can revoke from there at any time.

The invite link expires after 7 days. Resending sends a fresh link — old ones immediately stop working.

Pick the right role

What each role can do

Manager

Can create, edit, and crosslist products. Read-only on sales, accounts, and reports. No settings access.

Owner is reserved for the account creator and is the only role that can manage the team, billing, and the workspace itself.

Frequently asked

How many seats do I get?

Seat count depends on your plan — Crosslister is solo-only, Reseller includes 3 seats, and Pro is unlimited. Upgrade your plan to invite more people.

Can I override role defaults?

Yes. Expand Customize individual permissionsin either the invite form or any member's row. Each section switches between None / Read / Edit independently.

Who can manage the team?

Only the workspace owner. Managers and other roles see members but can't invite, remove, or change roles. Ownership transfer is coming — contact us if you need it sooner.

Need more seats?

Upgrade to Reseller or Pro to add team members. Or book a 15-minute call and we'll help you pick the right plan for your team.
