Consignor portal login
The consignor portal lives on your store's own website, not on resaleos.co. This guide covers both sides: what a store owner sets up and shares, and what a consignor does to get in and stay in.

The consignor portal login is on the store's own website: its address plus /portal (for example your-store.myresale.co/portal, or the store's custom domain), or the Consignor Portal link in the store's header. A consignor gets in from an invite email sent by the store, which signs them in without a password, or by registering at /portal/register and setting a password from the email that follows. After that, they sign in with email and password, or ask for a sign-in link by email. Each store's portal is separate, so the email has to be the one that store has on file.
Where the consignor portal lives
Every ResaleOS store has its own web address: a free store-name.myresale.co address, or the store's own domain if it has connected one. The portal sits on that address:
- Sign in: the store address +
/portal. If you aren't signed in, this opens the sign-in window on the store's home page. - Register: the store address +
/portal/register. - From the shop: the link in the store's header. It uses the store's own word, so it may read Consignor Portal, Vendor Portal or Supplier Portal. On a phone it's in the menu as Sign in to portal.
If the store has turned its public shop off, the home page still shows Are you a consignor? with a button to sign in to the portal.
There is no single ResaleOS-wide consignor login. If you consign at two ResaleOS stores, you have a separate account at each, on each store's own address.
Store owners: the setup comes first
The portal needs a storefront (it lives at the storefront's address) and the Reseller or Pro plan. Turn it on in Settings → Consignor portal, then share the registration link or print the QR code. Full walkthrough: how to set up the consignor portal.
How a consignor gets an account
Every consignor the store has entered already has an account in the store's system: their items, balance and payouts are attached to it. Getting into the portal just means proving you own the email address on that account. There are two ways.
The store sends an invite
On a consignor's account page, open ⋯ → Invite to portal. You can also select several accounts in the Accounts table and invite them all at once. The consignor gets an email with a sign-in link that works for 7 days and once. It signs them straight in, so they don't need a password.
The account must have an email address before you can invite it. Invites can't be sent if the portal isn't included in your plan or you don't have a storefront yet.
The consignor registers
At /portal/register the consignor enters first name, last name and email, then clicks Create account. No password is asked for on this screen. Instead, an email arrives with a link to set a password, valid for one hour. Setting the password signs them in.
If that email already belongs to a consignor account at the store, registering links them to it: their items, balance and payouts are there. If it doesn't match any account at the store, a new, empty account is created. That's why the email matters (see below).
How to sign in to the consignor portal
Open the store's portal
Go to the store's address + /portal, or click the portal link in the store's header.
Enter your email and click Continue
Use the email the store has on file for you, the one their emails and statements go to.
Enter your password, or send a sign-in link
Click Sign in with your password. No password, or forgot it? Click Send magic link instead and open the link from your inbox. It's valid for one hour and works once.
Once you're in, you stay signed in on that browser for 30 days unless you sign out. Signing in on one web address doesn't sign you in on another. If the store has both a myresale.co address and its own domain, keep using the one the store gives you.
Resetting a portal password
On the password screen, click Forgot password?. A reset link goes to your email and is valid for one hour. Choose a new password of at least 8 characters. Saving it signs you in.
For security, the screen says Check your email whether or not the address has an account. If nothing arrives, check spam, then check that you used the address the store has for you. Stores can't see or set your password. They can only send you a new sign-in link.
Already signed in? You can change your password under Settings in the portal.
What consignors see once they're in
The store decides how much of this is visible. My Items, item status and Sales & Payouts are on by default. Prices, sale details, the earnings breakdown and shipping details stay hidden until the store turns them on in the portal settings.
Overview
Balance, earnings, items for sale, total paid out, and recent activity. Booth renters also see what they owe and when the next rent is due.
My Items
Every item the consignor has at the store, with its status. If the store allows it, there's also a Submit item button for proposing new items.
Sales & Payouts
What sold and the running ledger of earnings, payouts and store credit. How payouts are calculated: how consignor payouts work.
Booth and payments
Only for vendors who rent space: their booth, rent charges and payments. Promotions show only if the store lets vendors run sales on their own items.
Purchases and gift cards
Everyone gets Purchases, so a consignor who also shops at the store sees their orders. Gift cards show when they have one.
Settings
Profile, password, email preferences and the signed consignment agreement. Which profile fields a consignor can edit is up to the store.
Some stores ask for something before the portal opens: accepting the store's consignment terms, or filling in payout details, an address or a phone number. When that applies, the portal shows that step first.
Common consignor login problems, and the fix
What you see | Usual cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Invalid email or password | Wrong password, or the account never had a password set (store-created accounts don't have one until the consignor sets it) | Click Send magic link instead, or Forgot password? to set one |
| Too many attempts. Try again in… | 10 wrong tries for that email within 15 minutes | Wait for the countdown, then use the sign-in link instead of guessing |
| That link has expired | Invite links last 7 days, sign-in and reset links 1 hour, and every link works once | Enter your email again for a fresh link, or ask the store for a new invite |
| An account with this email already exists | You're registering with an address that already has a password | Sign in instead, or reset the password |
| This account is closed | The store archived the account | Contact the store; only they can reopen it |
| Signed in, but no items or balance | You registered with a different email than the store has on file, which created a new, empty account | The store updates your email on the right account (and merges or deletes the empty one); then sign in with that address |
| Items on one device, nothing on another | Same as above: two accounts, one per email | Check which email each device signed in with |
| Signed in, but no My Items or Payouts | The store has the portal turned off, or its plan doesn't include it, so the portal only shows shopping pages | The store turns the portal on, on the Reseller or Pro plan |
Messages are shown as they appear in the portal.
One email, several accounts at the same store
Some consignors have more than one account at the same store under one email, for example a vendor renting two booths, each with its own account number, split and balance. That's normal, and the accounts shouldn't be merged.
The portal handles it with one sign-in: the password works for whichever of those accounts it was set on, and once you're in, an account switcher lets you move between the accounts on that email. The current account number is shown in the menu and on the profile page, so you always know which one you're looking at.
For store owners: helping a consignor who can't get in
Almost every case is solved from the consignor's account page under ⋯:
- Invite to portal sends a fresh 7-day sign-in link. It works even if they never set a password, so it's the fastest fix for "my password doesn't work".
- Enter consignor's portal opens the portal exactly as that consignor sees it, in a short staff session, so you can check what they're looking at.
- Merge with another account fixes the empty duplicate a mistyped sign-up creates. Before merging, make sure it really is a duplicate and not a second booth.
Also check the email on the account. If it's an old address, the consignor's invites and sign-in links go there. Fix the email first, then send the invite. More on accounts: consignor account management.
Frequently asked questions
What is the consignor portal login URL?
It's on the store's own website, not on resaleos.co: the store's address followed by /portal, for example your-store.myresale.co/portal, or the same path on the store's custom domain. You can also click the Consignor Portal (or Vendor Portal) link in the store's header. Ask the store for its address if you don't have it.
How do I log in to the consignor portal without a password?
Enter your email, click Continue, then choose Send magic link instead. A sign-in link arrives by email; it's valid for one hour and works once. An invite from the store works the same way and is valid for 7 days.
Why does the portal say invalid email or password when my email is right?
Usually the account has no password yet. Accounts the store created for you don't have one until you set it. Use Send magic link instead, or Forgot password? to set one. If you've made 10 wrong attempts in 15 minutes, you'll have to wait for the countdown.
I signed in but my items aren't there. What happened?
You most likely registered with a different email from the one the store has on file, which created a new, empty account. Ask the store which email they have for you. They can correct it and remove the empty account, and then you sign in with that address.
Can I use one login for every consignment store on ResaleOS?
No. Each store's portal is separate and lives on that store's website, so you have a separate account at each store you consign with, even if you use the same email.
Does the store owner see my password?
No. Passwords are stored encrypted, and the store can't see or set yours. The store can only send you a new sign-in link.
