How to connect a sales channel
Every external marketplace — eBay, Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, Square, Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook, Pinterest, Craigslist — connects the same way: OAuth from inside Settings → Sales & import channels. Connect once and your products, inventory, and sales flow both ways automatically.
Open Settings → Sales channels
Sales channels lives under the Integrations group — same place you'd go to connect Stripe.
Pick the channel you want to connect
Channels are grouped by type — marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, point-of-sale, social. Click any row to open its detail page.

Start the OAuth flow
The detail page shows the channel logo, what we'll request access to, and a pink Connect button that bounces you to the marketplace's official authorize screen.

Approve on the marketplace, then return
eBay, Etsy, Shopify, and every other channel host their own consent screen. Approve the permissions list, and you'll be bounced back here with a green Connected badge.
After connecting we run an initial sync that imports your existing listings, inventory, and any past sales we're allowed to fetch. Big eBay or Etsy catalogs can take 5–30 minutes — leave it running and we'll email when it's done.

Frequently asked
Will it pull my locations?
For eBay and Etsy, yes — we auto-import your store locations and tag listings to the matching ResaleOS location so inventory stays accurate. You can edit the mapping anytime.
What about existing listings?
On the first connect we import everything: SKUs, photos, prices, quantities, and sales history (where available). Matching is by SKU then title; you can review and merge duplicates afterwards.
Is OAuth safe?
Yes. We never see your marketplace passwords — only the scopes you explicitly approve on the marketplace's own consent screen. You can revoke our access at any time from the channel itself.
Connection broken?
OAuth tokens expire. If syncing stops, the channel row shows a yellow "Reconnect" badge — click it to re-authorize with one click.
Can I disconnect?
Yes, from the channel's detail page. Existing listings stay on the marketplace; we just stop syncing them.
