The best ConsignCloud alternatives (2026)
The short answer

The main ConsignCloud alternatives in 2026 are ResaleOS, SimpleConsign, Ricochet, Circle-Hand, and Shopify with a consignment app. Pick ResaleOS if you also sell on eBay, Etsy, Poshmark or other marketplaces; SimpleConsign or Ricochet if you sell mostly in-store; Circle-Hand if you want a low entry price on top of Shopify or Square.

If you run one location, sell in-store and through Shopify, ConsignCloud is still a reasonable choice. Prices below were checked in October 2026.

ConsignCloud is a web-based consignment system with consignor accounts, a register, and Shopify and Square integrations. Shops usually start looking elsewhere for one of three reasons: per-location pricing on the Pro plan, per-payout ACH fees, or wanting to sell on marketplaces beyond Shopify.

This guide compares the options on what matters to a consignment shop: consignor splits and payouts, a consignor portal, in-store checkout, online selling, and what you pay all-in. We make ResaleOS, so we have marked where it is weaker, and we only list competitor facts we could find on their own sites.

What ConsignCloud costs today

So you can compare like for like. Checked on consigncloud.com in October 2026.

  • Basic — $139/month. One location, unlimited users, accounts, items and sales. Shopify and Square integrations, free data import, API access. ACH payouts are listed at $2.50 each.
  • Pro — $189/month per location. Up to 3 locations and 1,000 vendors. Adds the consignor portal, automated emails and a pricing guide.
  • Enterprise — custom, per location. Unlimited locations and vendors, Slack support, unlimited API calls.

One example: two locations on Pro is $378/month before card fees and payout fees. An older ConsignCloud help article lists integrated Checkbook payouts at $1.79 each, so check your own invoice for the rate you pay.

Reporting: ConsignCloud lists four report areas — Accounts, Inventory, Sales and Accounting — plus exports and an audit log. It has no direct QuickBooks connection; its help center describes exporting sales and importing them into QuickBooks.

1. ResaleOS

Consignment, POS, crosslisting and a storefront on one inventory.

Best for: consignment shops that sell in-store and online, and multi-location shops.

Pricing (October 2026): Crosslister $39.99/month, Reseller $89.99/month, Pro $219.99/month. The first 30 days are $1. Yearly billing is 12 months for the price of 11. The POS and the consignor portal start on Reseller.

Strengths: - Unlimited locations and consignors on every plan — no per-location fee. - Lists the same stock to eBay, Etsy, Mercari, Poshmark, Depop, Facebook Marketplace, Whatnot, Chairish, Ruby Lane, Shopify, Square and more. When an item sells anywhere, it comes down everywhere else and the consignor's split is credited. - Splits with house defaults, price tiers and per-consignor exceptions; fees and booth rent; markdowns by age. - Pay everyone due in one pass by check, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, bank transfer, cash or store credit. ACH payouts have no per-payout fee. - A branded consignor portal and an online storefront are included. - A free, done-for-you move from ConsignCloud.

Limits: - The cheapest plan has no POS or consignor portal; most consignment shops need Reseller ($89.99) or above. - Reseller includes 3 team members; unlimited staff and automatic sales tax are on Pro. - It does a lot. If you only want a consignor ledger, it is more than you need.

See ResaleOS for consignment stores or how the ConsignCloud move works.

2. SimpleConsign

A long-running consignment system, now also home to ConsignPro users.

Best for: established in-store consignment shops and vendor malls.

Pricing (October 2026): Basic $159/month, Standard $259/month, Professional $359/month. Professional has a launch offer of $99/month for 6 months or until $50K in sales. Vendor Mall Plus is $379/month ($199/month launch offer). No setup fee, no long-term contract, no per-consignor fees.

Strengths: - Unlimited consignors and inventory on every plan, with integrated payments. - Standard adds ACH consignor payments, a consignor portal and scheduling. - Professional adds AI item entry, Shopify and QuickBooks Online. - A dedicated vendor mall plan with rent collection, a vendor portal and full data migration.

Limits: - The consignor portal and ACH start at $259/month; Shopify and QuickBooks need Professional. - Shopify is the only ecommerce integration listed; no marketplace crosslisting is listed.

We compare it in more detail in the best SimpleConsign alternatives.

3. Ricochet

A cloud consignment POS with its own payment processing.

Best for: shops that want one vendor for the register and card payments.

Pricing (October 2026): Core $99/month, Reach $149/month, Lead $199/month, plus custom plans. Card rates through RicochetPay drop as the plan goes up: 3.29% + 10¢ on Core, 2.99% + 10¢ on Reach, 2.69% + 10¢ on Lead.

Strengths: - Unlimited users, items and devices on every plan. - Ricochet Web, its ecommerce site builder, is included from Reach. - Consignor and vendor logins, and payout history to QuickBooks.

Limits: - Keeping your own card processor on Lead or Custom costs $100/month. - The Shopify integration is a paid add-on. - Ricochet said in early 2025 it was building an eBay integration; we found no live one on its site.

4. Circle-Hand

Consignment software that runs on its own POS or alongside Shopify, Square or Zettle.

Best for: smaller shops that already use Shopify, Square or PayPal's Zettle.

Pricing (October 2026): Basic $99/month (stores up to $10,000 in monthly sales, 1 location), Professional $179/month (up to $50,000), Advanced $299/month (2 locations), Custom for 3 or more. Yearly billing saves 2 months.

Strengths: - Client portal, email automation, AI item entry and pricing help on the entry plan. - Unlimited users and free data import. - Works with Shopify, Square and Zettle, or its own POS.

Limits: - Plans step up with your monthly sales, not just features. - Multi-location starts at Advanced; 3+ locations is custom pricing. - No marketplace crosslisting is listed.

5. Shopify with a consignment app

Your online store first, consignment added on.

Best for: shops whose website is the main sales channel.

Pricing: a Shopify plan plus a consignment app (Circle-Hand is one). Shopify charges for POS Pro per location. Check current pricing on shopify.com, as it varies by region.

Strengths: - Shopify's storefront, checkout and app ecosystem. - Keeps online sales and in-store sales in one Shopify catalog.

Limits: - Consignor splits, payouts and portals depend on the app you pick. - You pay Shopify and the app separately, and per-location POS Pro adds up across stores.

A note on ConsignPro

ConsignPro still shows up in comparisons, but its own site now says "ConsignPro is now SimpleConsign". If you are weighing it, ask SimpleConsign which product and price you would actually be on.

When to stay on ConsignCloud

Switching has a cost, even when someone does it for you. ConsignCloud is a good fit if:

  • You run one location and Basic covers you.
  • You sell in-store and on Shopify or Square, and don't plan to list on eBay or other marketplaces.
  • You run a vendor mall and like its booth rent, vendor logins and single register — ConsignCloud supports all three, and Pro covers up to 1,000 vendors.
  • Your team knows it well and your payout volume is low, so per-payout fees stay small.

It is worth comparing if you are adding a second or third location, paying for many ACH payouts each month, or listing items by hand on marketplaces outside ConsignCloud.

How to choose

  • You sell on marketplaces, or want to: ResaleOS. It is the only option here that crosslists consigned stock natively.
  • You sell mostly in-store and want a long track record: SimpleConsign or Ricochet.
  • You want card processing bundled with the register: Ricochet.
  • You're small and already on Shopify, Square or Zettle: Circle-Hand.
  • Your website is the business: Shopify with a consignment app.
  • You run several locations: compare per-location pricing first. It is often the biggest line on the bill.

Moving off ConsignCloud without losing balances

The part to protect is what you owe each consignor today. Whatever you choose, ask the new vendor to bring over every consignor's balance and payout history, and to check the totals against ConsignCloud before you go live.

With ResaleOS, the move is free with any paid plan. You add one of our team as a user in ConsignCloud, and we bring across consignors, balances, items, photos, sales, payouts, customers and every location. Before you go live, we compare five totals with you on screen: consignors, active items, dollars owed, year-to-date sales and items per location. You can keep ConsignCloud running while you get used to the new system. The step-by-step guide is here.

Frequently asked questions

What does ConsignCloud cost?

As of October 2026, ConsignCloud Basic is $139/month for one location, and Pro is $189/month per location for up to 3 locations. Enterprise is custom, billed per location. Its pricing page lists ACH payouts at $2.50 each on Basic. Card processing is separate.

Is ConsignCloud good for antique malls?

Yes, it can work well. ConsignCloud supports recurring booth rent taken from each vendor's balance, vendor logins for entering items and printing labels, and one register for every booth. Pro covers up to 1,000 vendors. Malls with several locations should compare per-location pricing, and malls that want vendors' items on eBay or Etsy should look at ResaleOS.

Can I migrate from ConsignCloud without losing consignor balances?

Yes. Ask the new vendor to move every consignor's current balance and payout history, and to check the totals against ConsignCloud before you go live. ResaleOS does this for free with any paid plan and compares consignor count, active items, dollars owed, year-to-date sales and items per location with you before switching.

What reporting does ConsignCloud provide?

ConsignCloud lists four report areas: Accounts, Inventory, Sales and Accounting. You can export data at any time, and an audit log shows who did what. It has no direct QuickBooks connection; its help center describes exporting sales and importing them into QuickBooks.

Is ConsignCloud a good fit for a small consignment shop?

Often, yes. A single-location shop that sells in-store, and maybe on Shopify or Square, is what the Basic plan is built for. It gets more expensive as you add locations on Pro, and if you want the consignor portal you need Pro.

ConsignCloud vs SimpleConsign vs Ricochet: which is cheapest?

At list price in October 2026, Ricochet Core starts lowest at $99/month, then ConsignCloud Basic at $139/month and SimpleConsign Basic at $159/month. The real cost depends on locations, payout fees, card rates and which plan includes the consignor portal, so price your own setup on each.
