Introduction to Crosslisting

0:00 All right, and finally, let's see how you can export and crosslist your items to external sales channels on ResaleOS. There are many different ways to do that, and there are a lot of nuances and customizations you can set up. For now, in this video, we're just going to see the basics, how to export, list, and delist your items on external sales channels, okay?

Setting Up Sales Channels

0:25 So let's open any item, and then from this page here, if you're ready to start selling the item, well, in this case, we haven't set a price, so let's do that. Let's do like $5,800, retail, maybe $10,000, okay? So as long as you're ready to sell it, you can come over here to sales channels, and you can add sales channels, okay? This is really the beauty of ResaleOS. You don't need to fill out a bunch of forms and fields.

0:55 You can just turn on the channels that you want the item to be posted on, and the system will figure out which fields does it have to send to eBay, to Mercari, to Depop, to Kashew. How does it have to format each field for each platform? The system does that all automatically for you.

Crosslisting a Single Item

1:11 You don't have to do that. So in this case, I'm just going to post it on Kashew, okay? And you can just click on save, and then you see the item is queued up for crosslisting. You can actually click on this and view which items are currently going out and being crosslisted in your store, and you can stop any of those. And now that the item was posted, you have a checkmark next to Kashew. Obviously, if we turned on more platforms here, then you would see more of them over

1:40 here in this window, and you can actually click on it and view the listing. Wow, fantastic. All the fields were filled out and brought over for you, everything, again, the way each platform wants it. Everything is formatted automatically. You don't need to fill out the fields manually yourself. And again, it's just one switch. You just turn it on and turn it off. Let's turn it off now. If we want to delist it, let me show you.

2:08 So again, you come over here, you click on Kashew, and then turn off, save, and then the item will be delisted. Awesome, and it disappears. Isn't that fantastic? That's like a couple of clicks, and you get your item out on multiple platforms if you want. It's what normally takes so much time for each product, now you can do in just a couple of clicks.

Bulk Crosslisting Techniques

2:31 This is fantastic by itself, but we just did it for one product. What if you have hundreds or thousands of products that you post on multiple platforms, not just one? In that case, from the products view over here, you can select multiple ones. You can select one, two, three, four. In this case, these items are sold, so maybe first you would want to filter by active items, and then you just select whichever items you want to post.

3:02 You click on crosslist, publish to channels, and then you turn on whichever channels you want to post on. In my case, I can turn on Kashew. I'm not actually going to post these items now, but then you just click on publish, and the items go out. What if an item is already published on that channel? Then it's just going to skip that one. It's not going to double post it. The system, again, is really smart in knowing already what you have posted there and what

3:29 you don't. Again, this is fantastic. You can crosslist your entire store, select all items in the store, 97 products to however many platforms you want. You just turn on whichever ones you want, and the items go out. A few seconds, and they're all queued up and crosslisted to these platforms. That's absolutely fantastic. Now, this is how you do it in bulk, how you do it for multiple items to multiple sales channels.

Using the Channels View

3:56 There is another way you can do that. There is a nice view. Let's close this. You can toggle this view. This is like a grid view that you have for your products, but you can also view your products on this channels view, what we call a channels view, where it's kind of a spreadsheet. You see which item is posted where. I can see each row is going to be a product, and then each column is going to be a sales platform. Here I can see this item is posted on eBay, this item is posted on Mercari, et cetera,

4:29 et cetera. What if I want to post an item on another platform? You can come from this view, and you can also crosslist from this view. Let's see if we can find one that's a good fit for Kashew. Let me see. Let's post this vintage chair on Kashew. Just click add on Kashew. Gets queued up. Same view as before. The item should go out for listing. You can do that. Let's say, wow, okay, it went. You can open it on Kashew.

5:00 Beautiful. Everything is there. Isn't that fantastic? Then let's say, oh, maybe I want this one on Mercari or whatever. If you can't post it on the platform, it tells you why. You can click on this and view why you cannot post it on that platform and get it fixed. In this case, I cannot post this item on Mercari because it's not active. Let me turn it active. Now that it's for sale, I can actually post the item on Mercari.

5:27 Again, really nice view to troubleshoot, view the status of your catalog, solve if you have any duplicate rows, that kind of stuff. This is great.

Sales Channel Summary and Management

5:37 Then you can come over here on Kashew. You have a view for each sales channels. You can see, oh, okay, I crosslisted three listings. I have three active listings there. I can see the value of the items listed on that platform. You can open any of those items and actually go view the item on the sales channel. This is kind of a summary for this specific sales channel. Obviously, you have one for each platform. You can go view that.

6:04 Then under the products tab, you can see which channels each item is posted on. You can see this one is posted on eBay and Depop. You can add any channels to the platforms. You can add any channel for the products that you want to get out and crosslist. This is roughly an introduction of crosslisting on ResaleOS. Again, I think this is just fantastic. I really like the way we simplify the process of exporting your products, so you don't have

6:38 to fill out a bunch of details for each platform. If you are the kind of person that likes to fill out all the details manually, we have options for you as well. We're going to see those in the next video.
