Introduction to Voice Item Intake

0:00 All right, this is another video I'm adding since we recently added the ability for you to do the item intake, to create items in the system through your voice, okay?

Navigating to Add by Voice

0:12 So I'm in the products tab and I click on add products, okay? And now there is this add by voice button. We might move it, but just look for it and you'll find it.

Adding Item Details by Voice

0:23 And through this system, you can now speak to add an item. So let's say I'm adding an Eames lounge chair, okay? The lounge chair and ottoman, the Charles and Ray Eames lounge chair. So this is an original piece and I can speak and tell all the details about this piece or I can just follow the prompts that the system is asking. What color is it? I have the black version and it's one meter wide and two meters long. I have the lounge chair and ottoman version.

1:00 So it's not just the lounge chair, I also have the ottoman and I'm selling it for $1,600. Let's say it retails, original price is $7,000 and what else? Let's just stop it there for now.

System Populating Fields

1:16 So I just click I'm done and you can see the system populates all the fields the way I've mentioned them. You know, there's the color, the price, the condition, well, I guess it guessed the condition, category, description. So I can keep on going and say more details about the products until I have actually filled it out, filled out the entire form. I can mention who the consigner is, I can mention the unit cost, all this kind of information,

Use Cases for Consignment Stores

1:46 This is particularly useful for those of you who are consignment stores and you do your item intake from your phone maybe while the customer is still in the store and you just do the whole intake immediately so that you can give them an item receipt or an item report before they walk out, okay?
