Introduction to Module 2

0:00 All right, welcome to Module 2. Finally, we get into the exciting stuff. Let's start out by creating our first product on Results.

Creating Products Overview

0:09 So we come down to the Products tab and then add a product, and there are two main ways to create products. Let's say three ways. One is you upload some images and you let the AI generate suggestions for you. That's number one.

Scanning Product Barcodes

0:22 The second way is by scanning the product barcode and letting AI generate the details again. The third way is the manual way, doing everything manually. We don't like that way. If you do like it, you can still do it.

Uploading Product Images

0:36 Okay, let's test it out and upload our first image. Okay, I prepared this Louis Vuitton bag image and I upload it and we give it a few seconds for the AI to analyze the image and generate the details for us. That's what the system is doing right now. And immediately it found out exactly what bag this is, the exact model, the brand, it generated a description, it generated a category, okay? Condition is this default condition.

1:07 And we can also make the AI generate prices. So let's click on that, get a pricing estimate. And what the AI is doing right now, or what the system is doing is it's going out online and it's looking for similar products or the same exact product being sold by other sellers online, okay? On other platforms. So it's scanning all the platforms and it's finding the same product being sold by other sellers. So by the end of it, we get a pricing suggestion,

1:37 which is great. We also see which platforms the item goes for a higher price. So we understand which platforms we might want to post it on based on the average sale price. It's not only looking at the item being sold currently from other sellers, but it's also looking at what the item has sold for in the past. So that's a more accurate prediction of what it could be selling it for now. So here we got a pricing estimate.

2:03 Again, we can click on any of those platforms. We can see on eBay, it goes for a bit of a lower price than it goes on for Poshmark. And then on Poshmark, let's click on any of those. You can see those have sold. Those are all the items that sold in the past, similar items. Well, on eBay, we can see a lot of them are posted currently. And so we can open any of them and go view the actual item, okay? We're gonna dig a little bit deeper

2:29 into the pricing engine later. And then the AI generated product method fields, like the dimensions. And if we save the item and we don't enter an SKU, it will be generated automatically by the system. We can specify how many of those items we have for each location and for each warehouse. Right now, I have, let's say, three in this San Francisco warehouse. You can enter shipping details, and then the AI goes and generates more attributes

2:56 for this specific product type. Okay, let's save the item for now. And we're gonna come back to it later because there is more stuff I wanna show you in this product form, okay?

Using Barcode Scanner

3:09 But the other thing I wanted to show you is how to create an item from a barcode. So let's say the item you're selling still has the original tag from the manufacturer. So I've got a product over here, and let me see if my barcode scanner is connected. I think so. Okay, so I have a pack of batteries over here, and I have a barcode scanner. So we can come over to scan a barcode. Let's say you don't have a barcode scanner.

3:35 You can scan with your camera on your device, or you can just scan with your phone, okay? So you take your phone with your camera, you scan the QR code, and then you can use your phone as a barcode scanner, basically. Give it a try. It's really awesome. So let's say we scan it with the barcode scanner, and I still have the original barcode from the manufacturer. I turn on my barcode scanner. I scan the item. Immediately, the system recognizes I scanned this item,

4:05 and it looks up for the item across thousands of databases. And as you can see, it found the exact item. I click on add product, and that triggers the same AI generation and analysis that we triggered earlier. It imports the pictures, and it generates all the details. This looks, no, okay, this looks right. And again, it does this for all the attributes that it can find. It's a really nice system. So let's save this item as well.

Saving Product Details

4:38 I wanna show you more about the product form, so let's dive into more details.
