Introduction to Gift Cards

Creating Gift Cards

0:05 We're going to look at gift cards. As we have seen, products have a sub tab for the photo studio, but also one for gift cards.

Assigning Gift Cards

0:14 Here you can create and issue gift cards. So you can create one over here, you got a code, you got a value, you can set an expiration date, you can assign it to a customer. We haven't saved any customers, we saved the consignor earlier. Consignors can also be customers, obviously, so I can assign them over here.

Sending Gift Cards

0:34 You can send them a gift card. You can preview the email that they receive when you issue the gift card to them. You can also see the gift card status on their consignor portal slash customer portal, whatever, whatever.

Using Gift Cards at Checkout

0:51 Let's create the gift card now. You can add notes over here. Really self-explanatory, gift cards are basically a product as well that you are selling. You can apply those gift cards at checkout at the POS if you want to. But there's not much to know over here.
