This beautiful and one-of-a-kind hand carved rose pendant is carved from natural momo coral. The Momo corals are famous for their gentle and sweet pinkish red color and are found in the tropical waters in the north of Taiwan and Japan.

The Japanese word “momo” means “peach” in English. The momo corals can be identified by the diagnostic whitish round spots or white veins called "soul”. So, naturally the white markings are considered a valuable feature in determining the origin, or the authenticity of the momo coral.
