Condition

Very good vintage estate condition. Two of the original accent diamonds are absent within the pavé setting; however, their absence is difficult to detect without magnification and does not detract from the ring's overall beauty or sparkle. All remaining diamonds are secure, and the mounting displays only light wear consistent with careful ownership.

Some rings impress with size. Others impress with movement.

This design immediately caught our attention because of the way its sweeping curves guide the eye through the composition. The four graduated round brilliant-cut diamonds create a gentle focal point, while the surrounding pavé-set diamonds produce a continuous ribbon of light that seems to flow across the finger.

Although two tiny accent diamonds are absent, we intentionally examined the ring without magnification before locating them. We found that the overall design is so balanced—and the remaining diamonds so lively—that their absence is essentially undetectable during normal wear. It is a wonderful example of thoughtful design allowing the beauty of the whole to remain greater than the sum of its individual parts.
