This crewel piece was not completed prior to framing. I think it tells an interesting story that way! Did the individual working on it pass away before it was finished and family had it framed? Or maybe someone just got sick of working on it and said forget it? Or maybe this was their artistic interpretation of the kit. We may never find out. Any way you slice it, it’s a lovely piece with vintage style. Measures 18”x22”.
