A breathtaking example of Victorian parlor elegance — and it actually works. This antique brass oil lamp features a beautifully proportioned ribbed brass column rising from an ebonized stepped base, topped with a perforated burner collar and a glorious hand-painted satin glass globe. The globe is decorated with soft pink peonies and trailing green leaves painted on a warm ivory ground — the painterly detail that defined late 19th-century decorative taste at its finest. The original clear glass chimney is included and intact.
Tested and confirmed working — a rare distinction in a piece of this age and beauty.
A statement piece for a Victorian, traditional, or eclectic interior. Equally at home on an antique dealer’s shelf or a designer’s sideboard.

Style: Victorian / Gone with the Wind (GWTW) Parlor Lamp
