A charming primitive kitchen tool — an antique tin nutmeg grater featuring a clamp-on heart-shaped wing screw and a perforated cylindrical grating drum. The wire arm held the nutmeg against the punched-tin grating surface as it was cranked or rubbed. Wonderful aged patina with rust and wear consistent with age and heavy kitchen use. A great display piece for primitive or farmhouse kitchen collections, or a functional piece of culinary history. Minor surface oxidation, structurally sound.
