This charming antique composition baby doll features a round, chubby-cheeked face with painted brown eyes, arched brows, and bright red bow lips — classic hallmarks of American and German composition dolls from the 1930s–1950s. The head displays the crazing and wear typical of composition construction, including a visible crack at the crown and some paint loss, consistent with age and honest use. A mold number (174 or similar) is impressed at the back of the neck. The cloth body retains its original jointing and is dressed in later yellow cotton twill overalls with an embroidered bear motif over a bright rainbow-striped long-sleeve knit shirt, and white mesh socks.
