A rare and historically significant piece of American military history — this original WWII-era U.S. Army wool service jacket comes complete with its insignia and patches intact, telling the story of one soldier’s service in the Pacific Theater of Operations.
Size 38-L as stamped on the interior label, this olive drab wool jacket features:

Far East Air Forces (FEAF) shoulder patch — the distinctive blue diamond with winged star and Southern Cross constellation, placing this soldier in the Pacific command
• Corporal chevrons (two stripes) on both sleeves
• Army Air Forces collar brass — the winged propeller device
• “US” collar disc
• Original brass buttons throughout
• Contract stampings visible on interior label
The jacket is in remarkably good condition for its age, with honest wear consistent with authentic use. All insignia appear original to the garment.
A compelling display piece for militaria collectors, WWII historians, or anyone drawn to the men who served in the Pacific air campaigns of 1941–1945.
