A remarkable piece of Edwardian-era German engineering, this silver-plated figural citrus squeezer is fashioned in the form of a miniature sword or rapier — complete with ball pommel, shaped shield guard, and piercing pin. Place a lemon wedge inside the cupped guard, squeeze, and the juice flows. Practical, patented, and beautiful.

Marked D.R.P. 195514 on the pin shaft — Deutsches Reichspatent, a full German Imperial patent dating to approximately 1906–1908. The guard is engraved with a script monogram, adding a personalized provenance typical of fine German household silver of the period. Gold-washed silver plate over base metal.

A wonderful conversation piece for the bar cart, dining table display, or serious collector of antique tableware and kitchen gadgets. Pforzheim-area manufacture presumed.

Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate patina and tarnish. Structurally sound.
