Mid-century Napcoware Studio Series footed bowl in matte black with a striking raised medallion band in cream-white glaze around the upper body. The repeating disc and square motifs feature a starburst/pinwheel relief pattern, hand-finished with dark glaze accents pooling in the recesses. Pedestal foot base. Original “Studio Series Napcoware” foil label still present (partial, shown in photos). Great textural, sculptural piece for mid-century modern, Brutalist, or eclectic decor display. Minor wear consistent with age; foil label is worn/torn as shown. A nice tactile addition to any vintage ceramics collection.
