A charming and atmospheric pair of Victorian-era oil lamps, electrified and ready to bring warm, nostalgic light to your home. Originally kerosene burning lamps dating to approximately the 1880s, these candlestick-style table lamps retain all of their original period components — making them a genuine antique conversion rather than a reproduction. Each takes 8 crystals (not included)

The Details

Each lamp features a domed brass base supporting a barley-twist brass stem accented with a pressed glass ribbed element at the column base. A scalloped pressed clear glass drip collar — original to the oil lamp — encircles the font area, and the ornate pierced brass gallery ring (the original burner collar) cradles each shade with period-perfect detail.

The frosted acid-etched glass shades are the star of the show: tulip-form with a fluted ruffled rim, decorated with a delicate clear-cut grape cluster and trailing vine motif on a satin white ground. Both shades are matching and original to the lamps.

These lamps were electrified at some point in the mid-20th century with green cloth-wrapped cord — the wiring wraps the exterior of the stem in a style common to home conversions of the era. Lamps are sold as decorative objects and should be inspected by a qualified electrician before use.
