Vintage West German stoneware beer stein, 7” tall, featuring a relief-molded Salzburg, Austria cityscape with the Glockenspiel tower, set against a rich dark blue-black glaze with cream detailing. Hinged pewter lid with ornate floral thumblift and pewter handle cap. Marked “Original King” (King-Werk, Höhr-Grenzhausen, Germany) on the base, mold #300, size 6. A great souvenir/collectible stein for any German stein collection or bar display. Good vintage condition — no chips, cracks, or lid issues noted.
