Charming Victorian-era silverplate figural napkin ring, circa 1870–1900. Features a cast cherub/putto figure holding a tassel and fish basket alongside an engraved barrel-form ring with floral and foliate decoration. Marked with a circular manufacturer’s stamp and pattern number 204, consistent with major Connecticut silverplate producers of the period such as Meriden Britannia. Dark patina throughout. A highly collectible example of Victorian table art. Wonderful for display or use.
