Vintage Japanese beer stein featuring a detailed pheasant and bird woodland scene. Made in Japan in the post-war export era (1940s–1960s), this stein features a crackle-glaze ceramic body, multicolor transfer artwork, and a molded faux-wood handle.

These Japanese wildlife steins were popular in American beer halls and department stores and are now highly collectible.

Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Light age-related wear and natural glaze crazing consistent with age.
