Original antique mounted studio portrait photograph of an unidentified young child seated in a chair. The portrait is marked at the bottom:

“The Gray Studio — Houston, Tex.”

The image shows a smiling child wearing a dress, bead necklaces, bracelet, socks, and dark shoes, posed against a painted studio backdrop. Based on the clothing, hairstyle, and presentation, this appears to date from approximately the 1920s to early 1930s.

The photo is mounted on heavy studio board. Approximate size shown in photos is about 7.5” wide x 10” tall overall, with the photo image itself roughly 6” x 8”. Please see photos with tape measure for exact scale.

Condition is antique/pre-owned with visible age wear. The image has surface spotting, silvering/speckling, scratches, tape at the top, corner wear, edge wear, bends/waviness to the mount, and general discoloration from age. The mounted board has rough edges and wear throughout. Sold as found.
