This is a beautiful vintage ceramic jam, jelly, or condiment pot in a lovely cream or off-white glaze. It is in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks, but it does show beautiful, fine crazing throughout, which is consistent with its age.
Key Features:
Unique Form: The lidded jar is permanently attached to its own matching underplate or saucer.
Textured Pattern: The entire piece (jar, lid, and plate) features a raised "pineapple" or "quilted diamond" texture.
Charming Details: The lid is topped with a delicate, three-dimensional rose finial (knob) and includes a slot for a small serving spoon.
Era: This style is typical of mid-20th-century (1950s-1960s) ceramic giftware, "Made in Japan"
This is a perfect piece for a collector of vintage kitchenware, someone who loves cottage or farmhouse decor, or for adding a touch of charm to a breakfast table.
