This is a vintage pottery jar made for Orzo, a type of pasta. Not marked but clearly Italian pottery. White glaze with blue design. Very heavy and handmade. There is one crack on the bottom foot but it is stable. It's more like a line in the clay but it doesn't go all the way through. Not a major issue. Measures about 9" high and about 6 1/2" in diameter at the largest part.
