Vintage mid-century modern atomic ceiling light, circa late 1950s. It was original to our home built in 1959.

This 21” flush mount features a clear glass outer shade decorated on the inside with a white painted starburst pattern and applied gold flecking. Inside is a smaller frosted white glass diffuser, creating a layered double-glass design typical of atomic-era lighting.

Condition:

Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Glass presents well with no chips or cracks observed.

Electrical:

Working when removed from our home (used daily). Untested since removal. As with all vintage lighting, professional installation is recommended.

Shipping:

Will be packed with extreme care due to fragile vintage glass components. Glass pieces will be separated and securely wrapped. I will probably have it packed by UPS. Local pickup available.
