Up for sale is a stunning vintage sheer polyester scarf from F.W. Woolworth Co. RN 14711. This piece features a classic mid-century floral "burst" pattern in vibrant teal-blue, bright orange, and sunshine yellow with the border in the matching bright orange.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The white background is crisp and bright with no yellowing, and the colors remain incredibly vibrant. No snags, holes, or odors detected.
Note on Tag: The original "Made in Japan" tag is present but has begun to unravel at the edge. I have applied a small piece of painter's tape to the end of the tag to stabilize the threads and prevent further fraying.
Measurements: Approximately 42" x 15"
It is stored in a plastic bag that has a fold over flap with a two snap closure so it can breathe. This piece is very versatile. It could be put on display given it's high grade Vtg. condition or you could use it for a table runner, a scarf/head wrap, a bikini wrap or, you could wrap it around your lampshade to add some color and life to the room. It is completely see through for about 4 layers if folded. you can still kinda see through it at 5-6 layers. You can completely see the cracks behind it in my folding closet doors in the photos.
