Beautiful vintage trinket jewelry box made in Japan, from the 1950's.  Features a square, fluted blue base with a detached white lid decorated with 3D porcelain floral arrangement. This was made by I.W. Rice (also known as Irice). Very cute, no chips or cracks. There is one small piece of ceramic in the bottom that did not get glaze when made, that was a manufacturer flaw .
