The pottery jar in the image is a Casas Grandes Ramos Polychrome vessel, or olla. This type of pottery originates from the prehistoric Mimbres/Mogollon culture of Northern Mexico, specifically the Chihuahua region and the archaeological site of Paquimé (Casas Grandes).
