I acquired this splendid Romweber Viking Oak board room table from Alan Meckstroth, Esq., upon his retirement from law practice at the age of 89 in April 2024. Mr. Meckstroth acquired them in 1971 after they had been the board room furnishings since the 1940s at the Gem City Bank -- originally the Callahan Bank -- of Dayton, Ohio. Pictured in this listing is the Callahan Building where this set of furniture spent its younger years. Mr. Meckstroth said he was thrilled to obtain this already vintage furniture 54 years ago when the bank bigwigs "decided they needed to have furniture made of chrome." See
