A craftsman in Bowling Green, Missouri, ingeniously made this cabinet from materials of an old farmhouse that was demolished. At first glance, the grill work on the front looks the the bark-on-branch materials of classic Old Hickory chairs. On closer inspection, the grill work turns out to be made from recycled pieces of molding. This is a charming piece, expertly made, with subtle colors and textures. The hinges are made of leather. See
