I've redesigned the upholstery on these antique Spanish Revival fauteuils. They are a pair of similar but not identical chairs -- I call them "fraternal twins." Vivid multicolored Otomi hand embroidery on a black cotton background, and new black leather cushions. On the chair with the cane seat and the partial cane back, the leather cushion is removable.Like most Mexicans, I am descended from both indigenous people of our beautiful country -- in my case probably Aztecs or Tlaxcalans -- and Spanish colonists.
