Traditions of indigenous America and Spain combine in my beloved Mexico. Tall, majestic hacienda chair re-imagined with hand-loomed Oaxaca Zapotec tapestry and red Italian leather and nail head trim accents. Tapestry dyes are all natural from traditional sources of plants, insects, and minerals. I obtain the tapestries directly from the co-op of the indigenous women who weave them. Unique, striking.Like most Mexicans, I am descended from both indigenous people of our beautiful country -- in my case probably Aztecs or Tlaxcalans -- and Spanish colonists. I envision some of the most beautiful expressions of Mexican aesthetics as combinations of the amazing beauty of traditional Native American and Spanish craftsmanship. See
