This 19th century Renaissance Revival chair from Europe was the sort of thing that adorned the salons of the ancien régime in Mexico City during the posh days before the Revolution. Instead of fussy needlepoint or busy woven or printed fabric, I reupholstered the seat in an evocative solid palomino color hair-on cow skin. See
