  • By teh way: The model with chassis RC-1040A employs a 3V4 output tube, while the chassis RC-1040 uses a 3Q4.
  • Battery Pack VS019 or equivalent.
  • The RCA model 66BX is a Three Power Portable Superheterodyne Receiver with Self Contained Loop Antenna. Also with detachable "wave antenna" with rubber suction cup. See also the later models chassis RC-1040C with an external loop antenna socket, which is omitted in RC-1040D - but otherwise the same. Aluminium front. See also 8BX55 with a gold finish instead aluminium finish, also having chassis RC-1040C or RC-1040D ("Gold" version: only other Back, Link carrying handle, case screws, case shutter). The earlier model 66BX is available with chassis RC-1040, RC-1040A or RC-1040B. Details can be seen at Rider's 20-8 and 20-10 Changes.
