A limited-edition rug or wall hanging featuring the famous Pablo Picasso painting “Harlequin & Woman with a Necklace (Arlequin v Mujer Con Collar) 1917.” The original painting is currently on display at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. On verso is an annotation of 132/500. Produced by Desso, 1994. Manufactured in The Netherlands under the license of Succession Picasso. 100% pure new wool. The painting exemplifies the Synthetic Cubist style; the flat planes of color and "intricate puzzle-like composition" giving the appearance of cutout paper with which the style originated. A unique statement piece for collectors of Modern Art. From a private collection. Dimensions: 79”h x 79”w. In excellent condition.
