This necklace features two strands of natural gems with a warm, neutral color.  One strand is double in width due to the lateral bead style of the teardrop-shaped cultured pearls. The pearls have a good luster, are primarily light-to-medium bronze in color, and average 8mm x 6mm x 6mm in size. The other strand features polished citrine rough, averaging approximately 13mm x 9mm. Between the citrine beads are sculpted circular spacer rings with a rope design that are gold in color. They could be gold tone, plated, or 14 karat solid gold.  Due to the tight spacing between the beads, testing the rings has not been possible. The clasp that secures the necklace and the gold beads adjacent to the clasp all test as 14 karat solid gold.

The consignor wore this necklace twisted, like a torsade necklace, as shown in the photos. Depending on how much the strands are twisted or whether they are twisted at all, produces a different look.
