This pair of Navajo (Diné) sterling silver and turquoise stud earrings feature a two-tone finish and beautiful, labor-intensive metalwork, a renowned Navajo tradition that incorporates distinct decorative techniques and symbols.

This set is crafted with decorative scalloped settings that have a darkened sterling silver background, a twisted rope design, and a matte finish. The edges of the scalloped settings, the beading, and  the sawtooth bezel details have a contrasting bright polished finish. Set in the center of each earring are two 11.0mm x 15.0mm oval-shaped natural turquoise cabochon stones with a lovely green-blue color and brown matrix. The earrings include plastic discs backs that stabilize the earrings (keep them from drooping) and are secured with sterling silver butterfly friction backs.
