This Lady-Datejust watch is crafted in 18 karat yellow gold and stainless steel, features a round 26mm diameter Oyster case with an 18K yellow gold fluted bezel and a striking, premium black dial with yellow gold baton hour markers and luminescent hands. The case is protected by an extremely hard, scratch-resistant, anti-glare, synthetic sapphire crystal with a cyclops magnifying lens at the 3 o'clock position over the date window. The bottom of the dial bears the inscription "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified," a designation that is a guarantee of precision, durability, and reliability. The watch is powered by a Swiss automatic 29-jewel movement known for its accuracy, reliability and its quickset function. The model number 69173 was made in 1989.

The watch features the Rolex Perpetual Rotor self-winding mechanism. When the watch is not being worn, the fully wound mainspring offers a power reserve, allowing the watch to continue running for approximately 55 hours.

Attached to the case is the Rolex Jubilee bracelet. The Rolex design features a five-link bracelet with two larger outer links and three smaller polished 18-karat yellow gold center links. The bracelet exhibits the expected stretch between its links.

Included with the watch is the original green leather protective case, a larger outer box, and papers. The watch contains only OEM parts and has been certified as authentic by Rolex's service center. The overall condition was graded as excellent.

The watch has recently undergone an overhaul and refinish service, completed by Rolex's service center and paid for by the consignor of the watch. As a result, the buyer of the watch is entitled to a two-year warranty offered by Rolex's service center. The Overhaul & Refinish service entailed a complete hand disassembly of all exterior components and all systems of the movement, as well as the separation and ultrasonic cleaning of individual movement components. This was followed by the replacement of any worn parts and a complete refinish to factory specifications, concluding with post-service testing.

Also included with the watch is a Certificate of Authenticity supplied by Rolex's service center, which was recently completed in April 2025. The appraisal states, "This watch, including its inner workings, has been inspected for authenticity, condition, and functionality. In our professional opinion, at the time of performing this appraisal, we have determined this watch, as well as all of its components, to be a genuine Rolex watch without any non-OEM modifications/additions. Crafted from stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, with a protective crystal made from lab-grown sapphire, this timepiece displays the date, hours, minutes, and seconds. All operations have been tested and perform to specifications. This watch was appraised in excellent overall condition with expected stretch present between the links of the bracelet."
