This lovely 18 karat yellow gold vermeil (over sterling silver) necklace features an XO (hugs and kisses) design and is finished with a bright polish. Prong-set in yellow gold vermeil are nine oval-shaped black sapphire gemstones weighing a total of 7 carats. In between the sapphires are white gold vermeil "X" settings that are bead set with .05ctw of round-cut diamonds of I color and SI-2 clarity. 

The gemstones and diamonds are set over seven semi-rigid articulated hinged sections, allowing the necklace to move with the wearer, but also retain its shape. The center section is set with three sapphires and measures 6.5mm to 7.8mm in width, tapering to 5.45mm at the ends of the sections, where they meet the chain. The necklace measures 17 inches in length, weighs 11.75 grams, and is secured with a lobster-style clasp. #90 #A.
