This is a 1956 10 Centavos coin from the Republic of Honduras. The obverse displays the Honduran national coat of arms, featuring a triangle with two towers and a rainbow, surrounded by the text 'REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS' and the date. The reverse shows the denomination 'DIEZ 10 CENTAVOS DE LEMPIRA' encircled by a wreath. This particular specimen has developed an extremely dark, rich patina that gives it a unique vintage look.
