This is a beautiful, authentic Victorian-era celluloid photo album featuring a vibrant lithograph of a young girl holding a white dove on the front cover. The cover is framed in ornate gold and blue scrolls against a pale yellow floral background. The back cover is finished in a contrasting light green and silver swirl patterned fabric.

Details & Condition:

Cover: The celluloid front is in good vintage condition with bright colors. There is light surface wear consistent with age.

Binding & Hardware: The album features a decorative brass-tone metal clasp (functional) and heavily gilded/gold-edged pages that still retain a nice shine.

Interior: Contains thick, cardstock pages with lovely purple lily/floral Art Nouveau illustrations framing the photo slots.

Flaws to Note: As shown in the photos, there is significant wear to the internal paper photo slots, including several tears and separations where photos would be inserted. The interior hinges show some separation from the binding due to age, and there is general toning/staining on the paper pages.
