A set of four (4) vintage individual-sized oval au gratin bakers or casseroledishes, finished in the classic diner-style "Brown and White" (also called Ivory or Tan) glaze. This durable and high-quality ceramic restaurant-ware pattern features a rich, glossy brown exterior with a smooth white interior.

Each baker is detailed with scalloped (lug) handles on both ends and measures approximately 9 inches long and 5 inches wide.

Maker and Condition:

The underside features a large oval-shaped, unglazed ceramic foot ring that is rough to the touch

Indented into the unglazed bottom of each is the mold number "DC 627" at the top and the country of origin mark "UsSA" .

The glossy glaze on all four pieces is bright and shows excellent color. There is no crazing, cracks, or large repairs. One piece has a small stilt mark/chip on the bottom foot ring (as pictured).
