An cast iron, forged steel outdoor patio umbrella base, that has 12 Roman numerals that are laid out like a 12 hour clock designed around a center sunburst pattern which gives it a sun dial appearance. It is painted in black which appears to be the original color. Although some may prefer to give it a fresh coat of black rust resistant paint we think that the growing patina that is a mix of rust and water crust gives it a growing gray overlay that looks terrific and not easily replicated.This heavy base is unique in the this category of outdoor furniture which rarely differentiates one from another. This umbrella base has Regency Style.the center post can support up to a 2" round pole and weighs approximately 75 lbs.
