A coastal style 3 drawer chest finished in light gray x vanilla two toned split pencil reed rattan designed in the manner of Gabriella Crespi. There are no signatures, or makers markings, but we estimate that this piece was built in the early 1970s. A truly versatile storage solution that could be used for numerous purposes such as garment or linen storage, crafts supply, kitchenware, the list goes on. With tongue and groove drawer construction and side mounted drawer wood gliders you can be certain this item of furniture is made well and built to withstand the commensurate ravages of usage and time. A thoughtful construction would likely fall apart based on the standards used in todays construction. The entire chest has an attached 3.5 " raised platform with 4 corner posts that keep the unit above ground. Its outer frame is ceruse stained in an off-white Georgian greyish stain while the faces of the drawers have a slight pale yellow tone that results in a two tone effect . It's Mid-Century 1980s Coastal sophistication that also borders on Boho Chic that adds an eclectic touch to most any décor motif. It's a great size in that it isn't too small to be than useful and isn't too large to absorb more space than necessary.
