Vintage turn-of-the-century fine reproduction 1970s French Empire style black metal toleware floor lamp. It features stenciling in dark gold along the shade and base and accents of black trim throughout the lamp. The flared shade has a pierced galaried top that rest on top of clear hurricane lamp style globe. The key switch is reproduced to appear as a wick adjuster to the oil lamp but is used to engage the n on/off position. A black and gold trimmed oval shaped sphere sits at the neck to conjure the image of its oil lamp original inspiration.
