Mid-century black tabled floor lamp has a galleried tole shade with gold toned highlights. It is 1980s quality fine reproduction inspired by French Empire Toleware. it has victorian influence that syncs with an Arts and Crafts motif but is intrinsically eclectic and classically relevant to most ambient design schemes. It has striking similarities in style to a French Empire single stick Bouillotte lamp. Also of note are the pierced metal gallery accents surrounding the attached table found at 30" midway on the pole as well as at the crowned vent. The shade rests upon a clear glass hurricane style glass globe. Although this is an electric plug in floor lamp when the round shade is removed, it imitates the appearance of a turn of the century oil lamp with a on/off key (wick adjuster) that keeps the antique OG theme. Charming is an understatement. See
