Cement heavy twisted neck gold washed elegant table lamp that is similar in style to the Marseille lamp by Aerin for Visual Comfort until you realize that there isn't enough of a twist in the slender neckline and while Marseille has no structural thick solid base that provides the perfect visual balance as the one for sale does. It has similar proportions as well to one of the lamps created by Stewart Ross James for Hansen and yet it looks more like the Aerin Co.s Marseille design than this one. However Mantegna Grillo and his partner Tonello created a series called Pyramide for an Italian Lighting Group in Italy named High Society in the 70s. But alas it has a closer twist to the long stem neck as this one has but no base to be found, We've searched and asked and requested info on the maker of this lamp and we still are perplexed, If you know who made this lamp which has a steady swirl to its body and a geometric solid foundation in a dark brown to compliment its gold dusted tone that carries a reflective but matte sheen in its finishing and supports a single bulb fixture at the top with a 3 way wiring that seems to have been made sometime in the last 20 years... please tell us!The lamp is sold with its harp and finial but without a lampshade.
