An early 21st century Regency style mahogany arm chair that has carved details at the front legs and a rounded back with elegant outwardly sloping back legs. The chair does not have a makers mark or signature that is discoverable. However the features found here including the old world charm of detailed carved wood work brings us to identify this chair as made in the manner of or inspired by the Jonathon Charles "Buckingham" Chippendale Collections. The fret paneling on the backrest is also a hallmark accent of the designers style. The seat is upholstered in a Peoni collage patterned textile in floral colors of yellow tones, orange, rose and pale greens. However it is sun faded and feels a bit dated. The good news is that reupholstering the seat is an easy DIY project.Use the chair alone as an accent chair for any room from formal to den or add to the set you already own.
